I Had to use their Spectra Pattern, So I created a Miniature Dollhouse Bedding set on 1:12 Scale.
And I also made Bottle cap earrings using their Spectra Patterns, and bottle caps.
I am so excited about the spectra challenge. Let me tell you a little about me and our business. We are the typical apparel business with a twist, We do embroidery, Screen Printing, & vinyl graphics...Until I mix my love of crafting with it.
I was born to be a crafter. I love experimenting with new things. Taking my love of crafts to work is the best, My husband sometimes looks at me funny when I try creating sometime because I had this crazy idea. Sometimes it works sometimes it don't.
My passion is 1/12 scale Miniature Dollhouses. There is just something magical seeing items scaled down 1 : 12th of it's size.
I have 2 different items here that are completely out of the box thinking for the spectra patterns, All items were pressed by a heat press! I didn't cheat.
I used the candy cane spectra pattern material. The small design is perfect for miniature dollhouse items!
1st I made a Miniature dollhouse bedroom set, The comforter, pillows rug, and table doily. I pressed the spectra patterns to material and frayed the edges. I even cut candy canes out of a piece of scrap and pressed them to the pillows. The quarter is to show the size of items. I plan to list these and sell them on my dollhouse website.
2nd I used recycled bottle caps, and pressed the spectra patterns to the bottle caps, That's right I heat pressed bottle caps and it sticks perfectly. Than I drilled holes onto the bottle caps and attached earrings. What a great way to recycle. From trash to fashion, or should I just call it Trashion!
